ToolsTray

Star a tool to keep it here.

Contact

ToolsTray is built and run by one person, Ramsudharsan Manoharan, a software engineer based in India. There is no support desk and no ticket queue behind this page. Whatever you send arrives with the person who wrote the code, which is slower than a call centre but a great deal more likely to end in a fix.

Who runs this site

ToolsTray is an independent project, not a company. It is funded by advertising and the occasional clearly marked recommendation, and it has no investors, no staff, and no sales team. You can read the longer version of why it exists on the about page.

Report a bug

The feedback form is the fastest route, because it tags the report with the tool you were using. A useful bug report names the tool, says what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Two extra details help more than people expect: which browser you were in, and roughly how big the file was. Almost every tool here does its work on your own machine, so the answer often depends on your device rather than on anything I can see from my end.

If a tool produced a wrong result rather than an error, say what the right answer should have been. That is the difference between a report I can reproduce in five minutes and one I cannot reproduce at all.

Suggest a tool

A good share of the catalog started as somebody's complaint about an existing site. If you keep hitting a job that needs a login, an install, or a watermark you did not agree to, tell me. I cannot promise to build it, but suggestions do get read and a fair number get made.

Everything else

For press, partnerships, licensing, privacy questions, or anything the form does not fit, email support@toolstray.com.

I read every message. Replies usually go out within a few days, and slower when something large is mid-build. If a week passes with nothing back, it is worth sending again. The message was lost, not ignored.

Privacy and your data

Questions about what the site stores, what the ads do, or how to remove something are covered in the privacy policy, and the storage page lists everything ToolsTray has saved on your own device with a button to clear it. If neither answers your question, the email above reaches me directly.
