Terms of Use

Last updated: 12 August 2026

ToolsTray is run by Ramsudharsan Manoharan as an independent, one-person project. Using the site means accepting what follows. If any of it does not work for you, please don't use the site. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

The tools are free and provided "as is"

Every tool here is free, with no account required. They are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. There is no guarantee that a result is accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose, and no guarantee that the site stays available or keeps any given tool.

That matters most where a number carries weight. Loan, mortgage, APR, tax, BMI, and calorie figures are estimates produced by a general formula, not personalised financial, legal, or medical advice. Check anything that affects a real decision against the institution or professional it concerns before you act on it.

Your files and your responsibility

Almost every tool does its work inside your own browser, which means you keep custody of your files throughout. It also means you are responsible for what you put through them. Don't use ToolsTray on material you have no right to process, and don't use it to strip protection from a document you are not entitled to open.

Because most processing is local, there is no copy on a server to recover if something goes wrong. Keep your own backup of anything you cannot afford to lose before you edit it.

Acceptable use

Use the tools lawfully. Don't try to disrupt or overload the site, scrape it at scale, circumvent its limits, or use it to infringe anyone's rights. Automated bulk use through the public pages is not permitted; if you have a use case that needs it, email me instead.

Ownership

The ToolsTray name, site design, and source code belong to the project. The content and datayou put into a tool remain entirely yours, and no ownership claim is made over your input or over anything a tool produces from it. How each tool handles that content is described on the tool's own page and in the privacy policy.

Several tools embed open-source components and bundled fonts, each under its own licence. Those licences govern those components.

Embedding

Some tools offer an embed snippet. You may embed them on your own site as long as the credit link stays intact and the page around it does not present the tool as your own work.

Advertising and recommendations

The site is funded by advertising, currently through Google AdSense, plus occasional product recommendations that are labelled as such and may earn a commission. A recommendation never changes what a tool does or what it costs you. Advertising and analytics are covered in theprivacy policy, and those third parties operate under their own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the project is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on a tool's output, including lost files, lost profits, or lost time. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

These terms may change as the site does. The date at the top reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted there. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated terms.
