Frequently asked questions
Are the tools free?
Yes. Nothing here asks for an account, a trial or a payment. If a paid tool is ever added it will be marked as one, and the free tools stay free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Every tool opens as an ordinary web page. If you use a few of them often, the install page shows how to add ToolsTray to a home screen or desktop as an app.
Does my data leave my device?
Most tools do the work inside the page and upload nothing. The AI tools download a model on first use, which is traffic coming in rather than your files going out. Each tool's badge says how it handles your data.
Do the tools work on a phone?
Yes. Every page is tested at phone, tablet and desktop widths.
